JOIN ONE OF OUR GROUPS

To do this fill in a ‘Referral Form’. This can be done by the person who wants to join or it can also be done by someone else on their behalf.

Once the ‘Referral Form’ has been filled in, it needs to be sent back to the People in Action office.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

When the form is received it joins a queue of other Referral Forms.

We will then contact you to arrange a meeting with you.

After a successful meeting, the person will be introduced to the group and start attending as soon as possible.

If you would like to join a group, you can view or download a referral form here.

BECOME A MEMBER OF People in Action.

To do this fill in a Membership Form and return it the People In Action office.

People in Action is a membership organisation.

Membership is open to anyone who supports our work.

Individual membership is free and members receive the People in Action newsletter, called Action News.

We have 3 members' meetings a year where we involve members in our plans. One of these meetings is the Annual General Meeting where members elect the Management Committee.

People in Action is a charity (number 701434) and a company limited by guarantee (number 2361654). This means that if People in Action closes down and leaves any debts, each member could be asked to pay up to a maximum of £1.
