Support Worker Vacancies for Count Me In Service

We are looking for passionate and committed suport workers to provide one-to-one support that is tailored to meet the individual needs of our customers, who have mild, moderate-to-complex needs and/or challenging behaviour and require one-to-one support to fulfil their personal goals.

We welcome applications from all suitably qualified applicants, however, at this time we are especially interested in:

• Car Drivers
• Urdu and Punjabi Speakers
• People with lots of weekend and evening availability

Hours: Varied up to 40 hours depending on customers’ requirements. You may be required to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Group Leader – Outdoor Pursuits Group

We are looking for someone with an interest in outdoor activities to lead the planning and delivery of a 12 week Outdoor Pursuits activity program for a group of people with learning disabilities.

The Outdoor Pursuits group is one of eleven groups that form part of our Personal Health and Wellbeing Service.  The aim of the group is to improve the fitness levels of group members, help them to learn about the countryside code, how to stay safe when outdoors and develop their independent travel skills. Participants will get the opportunity to enjoy lots of countryside walks as well as taster sessions in climbing, kayaking and other outdoor pursuits.

Hours: 5 per week

Group Time: Sundays, 10am – 3pm

Rate of pay: £9.19 per hour

Group Leader – Come Dine With Me

We are looking for someone to lead the planning and delivery of our Come Dine With Me sessions for a group of people with learning disabilities.

Come Dine With Me forms part of our Personal Health and Wellbeing Service.  The aim of the group is to learn about healthy living, in a relaxed, social environment. For more information, please read the job description, downloadable below.

Hours: 2 per week

Group Time: Wednesdays, 6pm – 8pm

Rate of pay: £9.19 per hour

Group lead – Belle Isle – Tuesday evenings

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced group lead to work within our Changing Lives Service. The role will take place at our Belle Isle group and will involve, planning and delivering activities, completing reports on a quarterly basis, setting up the venue and packing away at the end of the evening, being named person responsible for the running of the evening,

and engaging members in social activities on a Tuesday evening.

The Changing Lives Service comprises of 10 social groups for adults with learning difficulties, supporting members to socialise in a safe environment on a weekly basis. The group is member-led; support staff are expected to encourage and empower members to become involved in activities as well as socialise.
