Design It Yourself – Group Lead Support Worker
We are looking for a creative and approachable individual to join our Design It Yourself team. You will be responsible for leading and developing weekly Art & Crafts sessions as part of the Personal Health and Well-being programme. It will be important for the candidate to be committed to delivering outcome-based activities with a strong person-centred approach. It would be advantageous, but not essential, if the successful candidate had an Art Therapy background.
Salary Rate: £10.33 per hour
Hours: 4 hours per week (3 hours session delivery Monday 1pm – 4pm and 1 additional hour planning time)
Location: Space 2, The Old Fire Station, Gipton Approach, Gipton, Leeds, LS9 6NL
Support Workers – Count Me In One to One Service
To provide one to one support that is tailored to meet the individual needs of the Member and fulfill their personal goals. To support our Members who have mild, moderate to complex needs and/or challenging behaviour, with learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s and mental health difficulties. The Support Worker will support the Members to access services or activities of their choice. This will require a flexible and imaginative approach to fulfilling the choices requiring building up of knowledge and contacts within local services.
Salary Rate: £9.00 per hour
Location: Various locations in and around Leeds

People in Action are looking for a committed experienced person, to join the Board of Trustees. We are looking for someone with experience of fundraising, to help identify new opportunities, build strong relationships with potential funders in the locality, oversee our funding strategy and take the lead on the Board for fundraising activities.
The Board of Trustees sets the vision, the strategic direction, and management of the charity. It is responsible for overall governance which includes being guardians of the charity’s assets, overseeing operational effectiveness, funding, finance, and human resources. All trustees are unpaid. The Board meets every two months, usually on Mondays between 6pm – 8pm.
