Support Worker – Design It Yourself (Personal Health and Wellbeing Service)

We are looking for someone with an interest in arts and crafts to support the delivery of our ‘Design it Yourself’ art and craft programme to a group of people with learning disabilities.

The Design it Yourself group is one of a number of groups that form part of our Personal Health and Wellbeing Service.  The aim of the group is to explore and develop creative skills using a range of art techniques. The group will also visit art galleries and art organisations to inspire them to create their own masterpieces.

Hours: Monday 1pm – 4pm

Rate of pay: £8.01 per hour

Group Lead – Come Dine With Me (Personal Health and Wellbeing Service)

We are looking for someone with an interest in cooking simple, healthy meals to lead the planning and delivery of a Come Dine with Me cooking programme for a group of people with learning disabilities.

The Come Dine with Me group is one of a number of groups that form part of our Personal Health and Wellbeing Service.  The aim of the group is to explore, understand and cook healthy meals in a friendly social setting. Members of the group will learn how to cook simple, healthy meals and understand the benefits of healthy eating.

Hours: Wednesday 6pm – 8pm

Rate of pay: £9.18 per hour (2 hours delivery and I hour planning/meetings/set up and set down)

 Children and Young People’s Lead Workers

We’re looking for 3 fun-loving, creative, enthusiastic and experienced people to lead our weekend children and young people’s service.

We are re-designing our children and young people’s groups and are looking for a strong team of group leaders to help us facilitate this. For more information, please download the job description below.

Hours: 6 per week (4 hours delivery and 2 hours planning/meetings/set up and set down)

Rate of pay: £10.00 per hour

Group Lead – Be Active (Personal Health and Wellbeing Service)

We are looking for someone with an interest in physical activity and or sports to lead the planning and delivery of a ‘Be Active’ program once a week for a group of people with learning disabilities.

The Be Active group is one of eleven groups that form part of our Personal Health and Wellbeing Service.  The aim of the group is to get people active to improve their physical and mental health, to help them learn about healthy eating and nutrition and develop their independent travel skills. Participants will get the opportunity to enjoy a range of different physical activities including sports.

Hours: Tuesday 1pm – 3pm

Rate of pay: £9.19 per hour

Support Worker Vacancies for Count Me In Service

We are looking for passionate and committed suport workers to provide one-to-one support that is tailored to meet the individual needs of our customers, who have mild, moderate-to-complex needs and/or challenging behaviour and require one-to-one support to fulfil their personal goals.

Hours: Varied up to 40 hours depending on customers’ requirements. You may be required to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Course Tutor for our Employability Course

We are looking for someone to lead the planning and delivery of a National Open College Network – Employability course for a group of people with learning disabilities.

The Employability course is one of ten groups/courses that form part of our Personal Health and Wellbeing Service.  The aim of the course is to support the participants to complete the units based on the assessment criteria and learning outcomes of the National Open College Network (NOCN) Employability course.

Participants will get the opportunity to explore the world of work, build their confidence and self-esteem and understand why they want to work and what they would like to do.

Hours: Thursdays 1pm – 3pm

Rate of pay: £15.00 per hour
