LGBTQ+ Group

The LGBT+ group sit around a table smiling and chatting. One person holds an LGBT+ rainbow flag

Our LGBT+ group meets once a week in Leeds to meet other people from the LGBT+ community with a learning disability or autism.
The group meets in a safe space and has the chance to talk, get advice and support, but most of all have fun.

What does LGBTQ+ mean?

L=Lesbian means a woman who is attracted to other women.
G=Gay means a person who is attracted to the same gender as themselves.
B=Bisexual means a person who is attracted to more than one gender.
T=Transgender means a person whose gender identity does not match the gender they were given at birth.
Q=Questioning means a person who is unsure about their gender or sexual identity.
+=The + sign is there to include everyone, even if they don’t fit exactly into these definitions.

The group meets each Tuesday from 6.30pm to 9pm in Leeds City Centre
