Autism Acceptance Day/Week/Month

April is Autism Acceptance Month, and 2nd-8th April is Autism Acceptance Week.

Autistic people can often face struggles in life – in education, employment, and in social situations.

It is important that everyone is not only aware of autism, but that society accepts autistic people, and supports autistic peope to be valued members of society.

There is a lot of support for autistic people in Leeds, and this month, People in Action, along with several other organisations, are running some information sessions to provide info to autistic people in Leeds, as well as promoting autism acceptance across the city.

We will be in the White Rose Centre on Tuesday 2nd April from 11am to 4pm.

We will also be in Leeds Kirkgate Market on 9th April from 11am to 2pm.

There is no need to book, just come and say hello.

See you there.
