Circle of Support – Training Session

As part of our National Lottery-funded Healthy Lifestyles Programme, we have developed a Circle of Support (COS) training.

This half-day training session will help support workers and family members who support learning disabled and autistic people to help the people they support to:

  • Eat a more healthy diet
  • Be more active
  • Manage their weight
  • Explore their emotional wellbeing

This training course has two seperate target audiences:

  1. Support workers and professionals working with learning disabled and autistic adults. (The next session will be on Thursday 26th Feb 2026)
  2. Family and friends of learning disabled and autistic adults. The next session will be on Thursday 26th March 2026)

All sessions run at The Old Fire Station in Gipton and run from 9.30am until 1.30pm with a light lunch included. All courses are free to attend.
