Meet Lucas
You may have heard that we have a bear as part of Leeds Bear Hunt. Our Art Groups have designed and decorated the bear, and he is looking fantastic.
We had a competition to name the bear, to raise funds for Leeds Hospitals Charity.
The winning entry came from one of our amazing support workers, Alice. Alice said:
At People in Action we are all about the celebration of inclusion. I personally know a little bear that is called Lucas who sadly passed away last year. He was everything that People in Action stands for, kind inclusive, happy and different!
We are very happy to name our Bear Lucas, in honour and remembrance of the Lucas who went before. We think naming our bear Lucas is a fitting and very special way to remember a special little boy. Thank you, Alice, for the suggestion.
